TOURNAMENT STRUCTURE:
The structure of this tournament for speech will be just like a power round tournament. There will be 3 or 4 prelims, then depending on how many entries are in your event, it will break to semis or straight to finals. The top [number determined by how many entries are in that event] will qualify to Nationals. Typically at Nat Qualz, you have to not only make it to the final round, but also rank top 2 or 3 in that round to qualify to Nationals. 

STATE QUALIFYING - BACK DOOR:
If you did not qualify to States either through bids or Littles, but you make it to the final round at this tournament, no matter where you place in that round you will automatically qualify to States!

WARM BODIES:
This tournament usually allows people to double enter as a "warm body". A warm body is someone who goes into an event with just a portion of a speech prepared and has no intention of advancing. The purpose of a warm body is to help boost numbers in other events and help get more qualifiers to Nationals. If this is something you are interested in come talk to me and I'll give you more info.
